Who is the Level Level 2 Award in Basic Life support (Adults and Children) (RQF) course for?
This basic life support qualification is for those that are interested in or are required to attend annual training. Those working in a GP or dentist surgery may be required to complete this qualification to meet industry requirements. This qualification may also be undertaken to advance personal development,
This qualification includes the use of a AED.
Pre-requisites
The Basic Life Support qualification is available to those over the age of 16 years.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees are required to be physically able to perform CPR on a casualty positioned on the floor. Attendees will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment.
