Who is the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) course for?
This qualification is aimed at those who require a paediatric first aid qualification to meet the early years foundation stage requirements for working within an early years setting.
This Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF) is seen as the most common qualification for early years practitioners and is delivered over 2 days.
Pre-requisites
This qualification is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being a Paediatric First aider.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees are required to be physically able to perform CPR on a casualty positioned on the floor. Attendees will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment.
