Who is the Level 3 Award in Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF) course for?
This Level 3 Award in Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF) qualification is for people seeking training in basic life support and management of anaphylaxis. This course is suitable for attendees working in environments that support children that may be at risk of severe allergic reactions, for example, those working in nurseries and other early years settings.
The qualification has been designed as a supplement to our standard first aid courses such as the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF).
Pre-requisites
This qualification is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being a First aider.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees are required to be physically able to perform CPR on a casualty positioned on the floor. Attendees will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment.
Additional Courses
Learners completing this course may advance to the
QNUK Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF)
