Who is the Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF) course for?
This Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF) qualification is for people seeking training in basic life support and management of anaphylaxis. This course is suitable for attendees working in environments that an AED is available in public places such as shopping centres, gym's, transport hubs etc.
Staff working in Doctors and Dentists can complete this course as part of their annual training.
The qualification has been designed as a supplement to our standard first aid courses such as the Level 3 Award in First aid (RQF).
This qualification is aimed at those over 16 who are able to undertake the responsibilities associated with being a First aider.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees are required to be physically able to perform CPR on a casualty positioned on the floor. Attendees will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment.
